Welcome to My Beautiful Occitanie! This site is for anyone wishing to discover the magnificent region of Occitanie.  I originally started the journal to entice my many English speaking friends and family to come to this part of the world so that I could enjoy their company without having to travel overseas myself. An unexpected and happy lifestyle change has given me a new lease on life. change

Having crossed the Atlantic more times than I could possibly count I am thrilled to stay put for a while and travel around Occitanie with my RX100 and share my experiences. You may notice a lot of posts about Toulouse, the capital of Occitanie. That is partly because I am based here and also because I am passionate about my adoptive city and I wouldn’t want you to miss out all that there is to see and do here. I am originally from Vancouver,  a stunning city in British Columbia but that is another story (and another blog).

I plan to visit and revisit some of the most celebrated sites as well as some lesser known gems along the way. Feel free to follow my blog and use any information you find on this site.  I only ask that you contact me if you have any questions or comments and that if you take up any of my recommendations you let people know that you read about them on My Beautiful Occitanie.

Thank you for reading this blog, please click the link to follow me.

I write roughly one post every ten days. I hope to enhance your visit to the region by sharing what I know. If you have any specific questions regarding the organization of your holiday, feel free to contact me.  Before long we will be designing bespoke itineraries for visitors to the region.

In the meantime I would love to hear from you if you have any questions.

Happy travels.

………à bientôt Christina
