Welcome to My Beautiful Occitanie! This site is for anyone wishing to discover the magnificent region of Occitanie. I originally started the journal to entice my many English speaking friends and family to come to this part of the world so that I could enjoy their company without having to travel overseas myself. An unexpected and happy lifestyle change has given me a new lease on life. change

Having crossed the Atlantic more times than I could possibly count I am thrilled to stay put for a while and travel around Occitanie with my RX100 as well as my Sony A7III from time to time, and share my experiences. In this blog all posts lead from Toulouse. This isn’t to say that Toulouse is the centre of the world, it’s just the centre of my world. On that subject, I can’t express enough how a visit to the beautiful pink city is something you should allow yourself! That is partly because I am based here and also because I am passionate about my adoptive city and I wouldn’t want you to miss out all that there is to see and do here. I am originally from Vancouver, a stunning city in British Columbia but that is another story (and another blog).

I love to visit and revisit some of the most celebrated sites as well as some lesser known diamonds as I roam around the region. Do follow my blog and feel free to use any information you find on this site.
